Celine is a French luxury fashion house founded in 1945 by Celine Vipiana in Paris, originally as a children's shoe business. The brand is owned by LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton. Hedi Slimane has served as creative, artistic, and image director since 2018, during which time he dropped the accent from the brand name (previously Celine) and significantly repositioned the house's design direction.
