Coutts

Coutts & Co is a British private bank and wealth management firm founded in 1692 by John Campbell, a Scottish goldsmith and banker, on the Strand in London. Thomas Coutts, who joined the firm in 1755 and eventually became its senior partner, gave the bank its lasting name. Coutts has served as banker to the British Royal Family since 1762 and continues to hold the Royal Warrant. The bank is a subsidiary of NatWest Group (formerly Royal Bank of Scotland Group).
