Elie Saab
Elie Saab is a Lebanese fashion designer and the founder of the eponymous luxury fashion house established in 1982 in Beirut. Saab showed an early aptitude for fashion and began designing at a young age before opening his first atelier as a teenager. The brand gained international prominence when Halle Berry wore an Elie Saab gown to the 2002 Academy Awards, and Saab became the first non-Italian member of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana.
