Gaggenau is a German manufacturer of luxury kitchen appliances with origins dating to 1683, when Margrave Ludwig Wilhelm von Baden established an ironworks in the town of Gaggenau in the Black Forest region of Germany. The brand transitioned from industrial manufacturing to household appliances in the twentieth century.
