KEF
KEF is a British loudspeaker manufacturer founded in 1961 by Raymond Cooke OBE in Tovil, Maidstone, Kent, England. The company name derives from Kent Engineering and Foundry, the metal fabrication facility where Cooke first set up his loudspeaker workshop. KEF was acquired by Gold Peak Group (GP Industries) of Hong Kong in 1992 and remains under their ownership.
