Vista Alegre
Vista Alegre is a Portuguese porcelain and crystal manufacturer founded in 1824 in Ilhavo, near Aveiro, by Jose Ferreira Pinto Basto. It was the first industrial porcelain factory in Portugal and received a royal charter from King John VI. The factory complex in Ilhavo remains the primary production site and includes a museum documenting nearly 200 years of Portuguese ceramic and glass production.
